Supply List

Items with * are found in art and craft stores. Purchase links are provided for underlined items.  
 
*Artist's canvas with staples on the back , 12" x 12" and least 1/2" deep. 
*Gloss gel medium (small amount.) Look for this near the acrylic artist paints. 
Foam brush, about 1" wide
Small container with lid (8 oz.+)
Electrical tape, black. Get the cheapest you can find at the hardware store.
Chalk or washout pencil that contrasts with background color
Frixion gel pen that contrasts with flower colors
Black permanent marker, fine tip
Saral, Transdoodle, or other dressmaker's "carbon paper". (NOT the kind you use with heat.)             
            
Background fabrics: Scraps of desired color- at least 6 different fabrics and enough to cover 
about 16" square. 
Flower fabrics: a wide variety of small scraps in the same/similar color. (Fist sized is about 
right.) Also, a few bits of black or dark fabric for the centers.
Leaf fabrics: several scraps, from a variety of fabrics
 
*Optional for variations:. If dark fabric used for flowers, a white permanent marker, fine tip.

What sewing skills do I need?

This is a no-sewing technique. Anyone can do it.

What computer skills do I need?

You'll need to save the URL (online address) for the class, so you can return to it.

Class navigation is very easy to manage.

How much interaction is there with the teacher?

You can post your questions and comments in the comment section. I'll check my email AT LEAST once in the morning and once again in the evening.

Will I miss content if I'm away, or in a different time zone?

Absolutely not. The class is completely self-paced.

How long do I have access to the course?

A LONG time. Once you've enrolled you'll have access to the course material for as long as it exists.
