Upcoming Solo Show in Virginia!

I'm super excited to have a solo show coming up in Bedford, VA! The name is Ellen Lindner: Embracing the Unexpected, and it will run from August 19th to September 27th.

The reception will be on the 22nd and I'll give a brief talk. I sure would love to meet you there!

The exhibit will include 31 pieces, several of which have never been seen before, like this brand new piece, called Farmers Market.

Well, yes, as it turns out. I was surprised that the Bower Center for the Arts, where my exhibit will be, wanted me to do a podcast with them. So, I did and we talked about my journey through art (and life,) why I call myself "Adventure Quilter," my process, and what drew me to abstract work. Fun!

Planning and packing for a big show sure takes a lot of time! And space. The box I put everything in was EIGHTY INCHES high! And 12" x 12". It was too big to even fit into my car!
